What Are You Doing Right Now
-
Just up here. About to get ready for work.
-
No we are just going to a nice hotel locally. We actually have gigs this weekend so got a hotel with a pool and just getting away and leaving most all electronics at home and avoiding everyone yeah that will last about 5 minutes.
-
Grabbed a light breakfast, took a leak and grabbed a drink at McDonald's. More than halfway through Louisiana. 357 miles from @krisleslie

Unless you leave the cellphones, the tether is not cut

Wait, where did the text go?
-
@scottalanmiller I was going to fill it full of the wonders of RAID5 and how it's clearly the most superior choice for large enterprises but I thought that this forum might be searchable and I didn't want to put that out there even if it was funny heheh

Don't they have to get permission to use your image? Or is that something you sign away when you agree to their TOS?
-
Spiceworks has a blanket approval for the use of my quotes - if I speak or write publicly the use of the quote is permitted. Not sure if anyone asked about my likeness per se but that's not a big deal. It's my brand on everything, as long as it isn't misleading there really isn't a need to get permission. If it was a bubble with words I didn't say, obviously, that would be a problem.
I might have given explicit permission for my image, I do quite often and I have spoken to both Spiceworks and Scale a bit. So there is every possibility that they have explicit rights to use it.

You did on this one.

Time for some lunch. Think that I am going to investigate the veggie hot dog stand around the corner.
-
Hanging my head in shame after realizing I screwed up and it'll take some effort to fix. Blargh.

Another update and another Office 365 interface change today.

I noticed the change last night.. can't say I'm a fan.. I liked the list of apps across the top, now I have to click twice to get to one of the main options.
-
oh Man I don't like that! Of course the only time I use that is when I am traveling and not at my desktop.

I was trying to put my finger on what had changed... I do like how they now make getting to the Exchange management portion easier. Although now I can't get the mail flow search function to work properly in chrome. Probably need to clear my cache just haven't done it yet.

This is my concern with "autoupdate" software - it has it's perks, don't get me wrong.
