Installing TeamViewer for Ubuntu.
That old "TeamViewer Hack" didn't scare you away?
DIdn't scare the customers away. We sure don't run it here. But that's mostly because of price. We use ScreenConnect. But we need the client side tools installed for just about everything because of customers.

Someone on the VoIP group at SW trying to make up an industry term for trunks claiming that AT&T's century old term is my "opinion" and then provides screenshots from his MItel system to "show that I am wrong" and turns out he and his VOIP consultancy that resells Mitel doesn't even know how the Mitel works and Mitel themselves have documentation stating that this guy was wrong.
Argh. Just personal attacks at some point.

Okay, I'll be serious... for my job title, IT & Admin, I have a bit of time to update my Virtual Box to 5.1.4 (clearly, theres been an updated while I've been away in Norfolk! How dare they!!), and downloading Cent OS 6 & 7, ready to install on Virtaul Box!!
Happy days!!

Busy... here @Mangolassi - I can see - lots to read and 'try and remember'!! lol But, busy in office too, with emails, two staff forgot their Pin Code's to their tablets, and one of them has tried too many times, they've locked themselves out!!! Agggghhhh!!!

@itpete it is very slow this morning, but in general this is the busiest community that I know. THe conversations happen extremely quickly.
-
@scottalanmiller Gosh, well, I have a few 'pinned tabs' open every day (when I'm at work), with IT LAN hardware and Spiceworks and now MangoLassi.
I've only downloaded the Spiceworks Android App, before I left for Norfolk, to give that a try - haven't even logged in to it, yet! I'll have to try Mangolassi on my smartphone, while I walk around and see how that works!!
Mind you, I get anough 'bleeps' with other social feeds on my smartphone as it is - lets throw another one into the mix, too!!!
-
Came in this a.m. to discover that we had not been able to send external emails since Friday afternoon... when we switched our ISP connections. Broke the Exchange send connector (I'm currently waiting on the correct AT&T address to use). And since we have customers in the office for training all week, the bosses are busy.

No one realized that since Friday?

I guess the failed delivery messages didn't show up until after hours Friday.

Is ML really slow for anyone else or just me?

The site. Taking 30ish seconds to post if it does at all. Nevermind seems like it is better now. Must have been some odd latency.

It can easily take days before there is any way to tell unless you are watching the email server logs.

And... the thunderstorm is here.

Yeah, I guess outgoing that's true.
Incoming it's pretty easy to tell.
