DNS resets DNS priority every 15 mintues, as I already stated I verified in the registry of some of the affected machines. Doesn't explain a 5 hour failure. This is applicable to Windows 7 as well.
Is that true? I guess I've never timed it. I force a reboot while at the same time fixing the problem by removing non AD DNS servers from DHCP.
He has documentation, but I have never seen it happen in all the DNS failures I've worked with.

OK, good, I'm not nutz, at least not about this. Neither have I ever, EVER seen it fail back without a network stack reset or reboot, or the secondary DNS failing.

But no more fleas, I guess?
Honestly yes...and cats were OK today too...not really sure who to call to help clean it up...just to make sure it is all gone.
If you went heavy with it, vaccuum the house a few times a week for a week or so.

lol. Understandable! I know she's trying to get rid of bugs... but what in the world possessed her to use so much of it?

Obligatory. "That's what she said."?

My father can now see again after having gotten poison ivy in his eye.

What do you call it when someone is still able to see after having Poison Ivy in their eye?

Well 20 new DL160 cluster nodes were just installed. Now it's time to get them up and running.

I am plagued on all sides by loudmouthed folks who insist on always using their phones on speaker. I feel like I might be thought a jackass if I get up and start closing office doors, though... But I'm outta here pretty soon, so I'm gonna try not to flip on anybody...

I always close my door when I'm on speakerphone.

Thank you for your courtesy. Could you teach my coworkers how to do that please?

If I decide to quit this job because I'm disgruntled, I just may try that... I would enjoy the hell out of that. (I actually love my job, and I'm quite gruntled).

Just about to get into the car and start driving to the train station. I'll likely be offline for a while, no power of wifi on the train, I imagine.
