What Are You Doing Right Now

I have some Hannspree monitors that have built in speakers. They were inexpensive 27" monitors. Good quality for the price although the speakers left a lot to be desired.

Any recommendations for good monitors with built-in speakers?
Why would you inflict built in speakers on yourself?

The best built-in speakers are still just shiny turds.

That's exactly what he means.
I'm more than a little crazy with my setup at home. I've got a high end HP monitor that has built in speakers, but I only used them once because they were the most recent audio device to be plugged in "Why is all the audio tinny?". Most of the time I use a Logitech 2.1 setup, but I've also got an HDMI cable plugged into the home theater system. 600watts into an Alex Jones Signature series 5.1 system is just pure bliss.

I wish I knew more about audio. People always ask me this stuff and I have no idea what's good and what isn't.

Ha nice. I used to have a Philips tuner/amp that I ran everything through with 5.1, but I never set it up when we moved back. I just have a 2.1 system, I think it's a mediocre logitech one. I mostly use my Philips Uptown headphones though.
I'm cheap, if you couldn't tell lol.

Just tell everyone to buy a Klipsch.

If you visit a place like AVSForum, they'd tell you that that's the "cheap", "entry-level" home theater speakers.

Dell has some nifty two piece ones where the speakers fit into a nice dovetail on the bottom of the monitor. For the money they're good, but that wasn't much money if you get the drift.

I have a speaker bar for my Dell monitor here. It works pretty well for webex's and presentations.

Pretty sure thats the one I'm thinking of. Just an inch or two thick, goes below the monitor into a neat little clip on deal-y. Yeah they're fine for boring vanilla work stuff but if you wish to enjoy music look elsewhere.

The police are paid to lie their *** off to the public in the USA. Much better just to not talk to them with how things are going.

I am so inclined to agree with you. The issue is my users need speakers (or headphones or SOMETHING) to listen to webinars that are required for them to keep their jobs. My boss says we will order speakers but no matter how many times i bring it up it doesn't happen. So, as a courtesy (sort of?) I am ordering monitors with built in speakers.

The police are allowed to legally lie to get a conviction "because the innocent won't self convict" but at the same time, if you refuse to speak to an office you've convicted of obstructing justice.
What the officer should have done was just write the ticket for what they had proof of, rather than trying to get her to self incriminate. Instead they kept insisting, arrested her, and now she's going to get a few million from the NJ tax payers...
