Anyone seen these? I just stumbled on them on the Netgear site. Not saying that I want one. Just wanted to see what a "Click Switch" was. Pretty, um, interesting?

They look PERFECT for putting under desks where they'll overheat, get full of dust and have spare shoes piled on them.

Sorry, still bitter about that incident.

Interesting form factor to be sure.

My switch has a USB charging port, does yours?

          Seriously?

I could see that being used at conventions... and maybe a conference room table...

Or in a hotel room, maybe?

Maybe... although I would prefer that most hotels get decent wireless then a switch.

This wouldn't be that bad for travel either, although there are smaller more effective ways to do this.

I can definitely see it being used at a convention,.. or a mobile computer lab.

I can see your point,.. however it would be better for it to be mounted to the underside of the desk, and properly managed so that the cables aren't in peril of being yanked out of the unit by foot traffic.

Until I got a Macbook which doesn't have Ethernet, I preferred wired Ethernet in hotels most of the time. Even decent wireless is unnecessarily complex to deal with much of the time. I love just plugging in and getting solid networking.

yeah as long as they enable WPA and just post the password everywhere, please!
