Definitely. It's easier to warm up than it is to cool down. I'd rather wear a coat than sweat my ass off and be brutalised by sunshine. I don't know why people call those "beautiful days," they're insufferable.

Well, I can count on @thanksaj and @tonyshowoff never coming to visit me in the summertime

LOL - It's suppose to hit -20 here in Kentucky...Been there, done that. I started moving boxes into my new apartment the other night. It was -30. -30! To put that into perspective, that is 62 degrees below freezing. The difference in temperature between a 94 degree day and a freshly made ice cube is the same difference that is between said ice cube and the temperature I just had to carry half my belongings through.
TL;DR: NY sucks in every possible way during the winter.

The kids just got in the hottub. Love it down here.
You're weird if you like heat... heat makes you sweat which makes you feel disgusting...
Cold is both refreshing and cleansing!
Arizona. When I lived there, it was always hot, but because it was so dry there was very little sweating and stickiness.

I hate being cold. I mean I HATE HATE HATE being cold. Warm is awesome. I lived in an African Jungle for a year and loved the hot, sticky I can deal with but hot I love.

I lived in Novosibirsk, Siberia, the winters were great and beautiful, like a Christmas card. Summer it got up to a high of about 24C / 75F, and even that was approaching too hot, thank god it didn't last long. Africa? No way dude, no... way... Hell, I once went to Dubai and refused to leave my hotel room until nightfall.

I hate being too hot the most, especially high humidity. Dry heat I can handle for short periods, like a few days. I really dislike super cold but will take that over super hot. Ideally I just want a constant swing of 45 - 62F.

Six hours out riding today... it was a heat wave ~30 degrees F.
-
Only 45 here today.
-
-
And back down into the single digits today.
-
was -14 °C when I woke up this morning. That be 7 °F for those who don't know.
Wind chill was stupid.
-28 °C (-18 °F) -
80 degrees here today. I haven't fixed the AC in my jeep yet and I am paying for it today.

That's pretty warm, for your part of the world.
Excellent weather to be not working in -
Yeah, it was -1 F here earlier. Once you cross into the negative digits, you enter bitter cold territory. Single digits through and including 16 are just frigid. 17-32F is cold. 33-59 is cool.
On a separate note, my father told me I was a sick child today because I was trying to explain to him how I hate sunshine, think it's a horrible thing, and it makes me feel sleepy and depressed. Also tried explaining how I only feel great and truly alive on the days that most people consider miserable, like totally overcast or gloomy, dark and rainy. Apparently I'm one weird dude...

-20 at 3:30 this morning... -15 right now...
