Unsolved Offsite backup options for ProxMox deployment

So, driving home still, but I just deployed a two server proxmox setup. Everything runs on server 1 and replicates to server 2.
A repurposed desktop is running ProxMox Backup Server with storage being a NFS Mount to a Synology.
What are so offsite options that people have seen for this?
Same idea as what you are doing with the NFS Mount to a Synology, but replace the Synology with your storage vendor of choice.
For my home lab, I'm running XCP-NG and for offsite backup, a VM on the server has a mount point to Wasabi. NFS share setup on a subdirectory of the Wasabi mount point in the VM.

A second Proxmox Backup Server at your remote site and use the Remote option and Sync Job to sync datastores.

Not an option if I want to use a service like BackBlaze B2 or Wasabi.
For a site with a colo or regional dispserse locatoin that one could be ran form that is a good solution.

I’ve use this to mount my remote storage and just backup to that.

So how much data as a percentage of your virtual machine size are you sending offsite every time back ups run?
-
I guess some of this will get into exactly how does ProxMox backup server handle the differential or incremental back ups and how does it regenerate a full back up. I have not read enough of the documentation yet to know that answer myself.

You are already using Synology. Have you looked at their cloud backup? I believe it even integrates with Backblaze and others.

I do that for sites now that are Hyper-V and Veeam.
Because I completely understand how Veeam works to create its back ups and I’m in control of how much data is going offsite per day. Remember I’m in non-symmetrical America Internet land.

@jaredbusch about 3% - 5% of course your environment might be different

I would move PBS to the PVE environment since your just dumping data on the NAS anyways. At least then it’s replicated. Don’t forget to backup your encryption key.
