HP Announces $180 Windows PC the Stream Mini
-
HP is releasing a super cute, $180 Windows PC called the Stream Mini. With only 2GB of RAM this is a severely underpowered unit, but for basic web browsing I suspect that it will work alright.

Cool that might be really nice to have around.

The 320$ variant really isn't that underpowered. Although I would probably rip Windows off of it and put Mint or Zorin on it.
-
The leap to $320 is a big one in money, though, and is mostly just an extra 2G of RAM.

If doing that, there are cheaper options I think. Lots of SBCs that will run Linux happily.

Agreed.

The price is still too high for what you get. This needs to be $129.99

That's kinda how I feel. It actually feels overpriced. I can get a better Chromebook for less money.
