Notifications don't clear as you visit a thread

In the past when you visited a thread either manually or through the inbox, if you had a notification for that thread, the notification cleared.
I noticed this morning that this is no longer the case.

It works for me. The issue I usually have is that I still have 1 unread thread being shown after I've read all the threads (just the red 1 shows). Refresh your page and it'll go away.

Been an issue for me for months now.

It happens, that I've seen, when a thread shows a dynamic new post but you didn't visit the thread again.

Re-read what you wrote and realize I totally misread it. Yes, I have the exact same issue.
