IBM Storewize V3700 - Supported Drives
-
Hi folks,
We have been given an old V3700 and have been told by management to use it.
I have had a look online but cant see much information about supported drives. Does anybody have any knowledge of these? Do the drives have to be IBM brand or can we throw anything in these?
Best,
Jim -

It's not an IBM, it's a Lenovo. That's all that it officially supports.

D) drives:
So, any SAS SSD under 1.6 TB should work with this? Perfect.

That ALWAYS refers to Lenovo's own drives. It never implies third party drives. This is true for all server vendors.
