Considering Filing a Harassment Claim

I use plan, old simple Logitech USB headphones. Work great, never run out of juice.

I despise cords. I have my RIG headset I use when I want to crank the volume later at night, but I'd love to use my Backbeat Pro headset with my laptop!

BT adapters are cheap. I have one on my desktop.

This is a case of suck it up and deal with it. Not that it is an awesome solution but, you live in an apartment gotta do what you gotta do.

I don't think you contemplate my level of broke.

I'm well aware of how cheap bluetooth adapters are. Believe me.

I'm not trying to cause unnecessary trouble, but this is getting ridiculous.
Throw on the headphones. You live in an apartment with apparently thin walls and floors, and have neighbors who are looking for something to complain about.
Don't give them any ammo. Apartments suck, condo's suck (I know, lived in one for a year, then owned one for the past 8 years).
Make sure you know your lease agreement front and back too.

My wife ordered this one and likes it:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K1GUY7M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1That reminds me, we had some super sensitive downstairs neighbors at our last place. They would complain that we walked too loud (even though we didn't wear our shoes indoors). They basically expected us to tiptoe around. They started harassing us and banging on the ceiling. We finally had to report them to the apartment complex, who set them straight. The management even offered to move them to a new unit on the top floor.

If she keeps calling the police and there is really no cause, the police will eventually take issue with her. But that takes a while and is at their discretion.

Yeah, true.

If you're willing, I won't complain. I can't offer you anything towards shipping, but I'd appreciate it.

Wasn't looking for anything for shipping. Email me your address, and I will send it out tomorrow.

@Hubtech , the thing I'd need to soundproot would be the ceiling, and I don't have the equipment or money to do it right now. Besides, because Texas seems to love the popcorn ceilings, and don't just use textured ceilings, or ceilings with sand paint, like they do in the North, it makes attaching anything to them even more difficult.

Your welcome.

Oh cool it comes in purple. I need to sound proof half my house! I live with too many musicians!
-
What you want is a deeper baffle, that should eat most of the sound right up. Eggcrate stuff will get most of the random sound out of the way, actual performance would take something more.

Assuming they play in the garage, just foam up the wall next to the house. If they are playing in a corner of the house, foam up the interior walls. And if it's all over the place, foam up your office.
