That's a decent about of new stuff for a point release. Kudos.

USB passthrough was also a pain in the ass, but I never really would use this, so meh, maybe for a special device or license fob of some sort. . .

I have 2 pain in the ass devices that this will hopefully help me with. A usb-to-serial adapter for our ancient punch clock and a CAD software license USB stick. The CAD stick I have one of these for. and the punchclock goes to an old PC that uses some USB over ethernet software to connect to the punchclock VM, which I'm super excited to be getting rid of. Bye-bye extra things :raising_hands:

I've moved over to XCP-NG, anyone else using this as well yet? Ive tried and used Hyper V, I'm just not a fan of it tbh compared to xenserver/XCP-NG

I’m guessing qcow2 is the reason for the 16TB?

@stuartjordan I've been running XCP-ng in my lab since it came out. I'm planning on switching my production servers once 7.5 has been out for a couple weeks.

Why not just get an app and a tablet to do the same thing vs using a punch clock?

                    Lab only.

@krisleslie Because that costs money and our current solution technically still works even though it requires 30 minutes of my time every week. My labor is cheap and a new attendance system is expensive, even if it were inexpensive it's still new, which is bad for stubborn management.

@black3dynamite Why just a lab. I put it into production.

The last time I used XS was when 6.5 was out in production, hated it and went with Hyper-V.
At home, I'm using KVM full time.

My lab is a toss up between XCP-ng and Proxmox.

@bnrstnr I don't see how free is expensive. What industry are you in if you don't mind me asking? I may be able to help you out on this on bro.

Free as in, it's free for you to take the effort and figure it out yourself. As a business this could be very costly and expensive in employee hours.

Even if the software is "free" the cost is in paying the employees.

While I agree in general with you, I have to disagree in a case like this. I would suggest, https://wheniwork.com works fine for me and it is free for the projects I've used it was better than our "free" spreadsheets and word docs which were 100x more painful to deal with.
