Without rebooting. . .

Without rebooting how can I determine which raid controller a system is using?
I have 3 listed controllers, Dell 6Gbps SAS HBA, Intel(R) Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA RAID controller, and Microsoft Storage Spaces Controller.
Microsoft Server 2012 R2
Any input?

Each of those will have a management interface option. You'll need to install or find the management tools for each one. That will allow you to identify what it is doing. From PowerShell you can list the devices seen by the OS and determine how they are mapped.

Is this a Workstation or Server?

Disable the controllers one by one until something breaks. :smiling_face_with_horns:

Well the end goal, is to repurpose the hardware after reconfiguring it.
But I'm uncertain if software raid is being used, the sata controller or ..... S2D. . .

check in
msinfo32.exe
.Or, install Dell OMSA, which will definitely show all.

It's using the Intel controller. . .
powershell.exe get-disk
