osTicket docs leaving something to be desired...
OS Ticket worked well for us for about a year. Then we got tired of not having certain functionality like basic ticket merging. So we built our own ticketing solution.
Ticket merging? Even some "enterprise" solution don't have that functionality.

I've never understood why. This is something that should be relatively simple to do.

Exactly. I always thought the same thing. So now we have the ability to merge tickets, which literally makes a note in the destination ticket, and copies all threaded content from old ticket, to destination ticket, in order. I never thought it was that difficult to do. Turns out, it's not!

So what are you using now for a ticketing system?

We just built our own internal ticketing system. Called project awesome.

Server going to Colo America?
-
@fuznutz04 Yep. My lab server has a new home, and I no longer have to listen to a fan while playing Project 1999 in my apartment's 2nd bedroom.
-
@eddiejennings Nice! That was a 2 U server, right?

Irony = Requirement for SCCM Current Branch 1702 is having .net 3.5 installed. Which version family of .net can't be installed on Server 2016 using the typical means of installing a role or feature?

New vanity just got installed!

Looking at buying land in Eastern Tennessee Smokey Mountain area. Possible retirement location unless I could get transferred to Knoxville office. Land is cheap compared to where I currently live.

You should have seen it before, it was horrific. The walls were fake blue denim!

Week = complete.
Just ssh'd into my lab server that's now in colo, ran updates, rebooted, and was able to access it again.

Discussing if we need to rip out the tub now, or not. This small project is getting bigger by the moment.
