@tim_g care to find it and I can give it a try?
Unfortunately no change.
You've changed the Queue Length and Private Memory Limit, and restarted the WsusPool application pool?
-
@tim_g yup, no change.

I know. . . I know. . . there are other issues that need to be resolved / depend on this system but not WSUS.
Hence "can't afford down time"

WSUS down time? Wtf?
-
Oh your WSUS server is doing other stuff too?
-
Restart the WSUS service itself?
-

Sadly. I would just recreate it, remove the services and go from there.
But I can't because of the other items.

-
Yet. . .
-
@dustinb3403 just open "services.msc" and restart the WSUS Service.

No change (already tried that as well, but thanks for the tip).

When I just go to https://localhost I get a Http Error 404.0 - Not Found page.
Are you using https? If so, 8530 isnt the right port. 8531 is for https connections in wsus.
You should also just login to the server and restart the wsus services. -

You should also just login to the server and restart the wsus services.I'm attempting to fix it as it's never worked (since my hire here) and finally I've got some time to dig into it.
Attempting to access either 8530 nor 8531 works.

I think i'm going to just have to rebuild it.... but I literally have nothing to create a VM on that will work for this. . .
-
@dustinb3403 Can't you just remove and add the role?
-
@wrx7m Yes i think there is an option to remove the role but keep the db intact for future deployment.
