You might be able to download it from Adobe's site. I have found old ones there previously.

@g.jacobse The activation servers for anything 8 and older have been turned off so they won't do you any good anyway.

So you'd need to use this installer http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/magic/creativesuite/CS2_EOL/APRO/22020134.exe

with this serial number: 1118-1414-8477-7606-6339-4141 but you still need to keep the number you bought on file somehow.

Not surprising. Version 7 is ancient.

Awesome completely solved - of course he's going to have to keep any proof incase he gets audited... but at least they provided a solution.

Might just be time to update the software. Chances of him getting audited too are possible but for software that old, I doubt they'd care too heavily.

The MS folks audit everything when they audit wether the other vendors care or not.

But it's way past time to upgrade. the software is likely to have some issues on windows 7/8. Actually at this point you'd have to buy a full version they won't offer upgrades on that. But it's creative cloud now so it's $20 a month.

Yea,..If you could just pull that our of your hat that would be greeaatt..

Sorry coudn't resist.. Likely hood of having proof that we have a license are slim.. I keep trying though. Might just have to bite the bullet and order it.
Time to poke Tech Soup and see if it's available there.

Well that is what the software is for.. If it was for design you'd be using the wrong application.. That's what Photoshop and inDesign are for.

Been cleared to order it,... so mute point. Rather go to XI than to risk possible security issues trying to resurrect v7.

Smart man. XI is actually pretty nice. I have X and it was really sweet!

Seems Tech Soup is out, for some reason we are over the line even as a NPO.

They have been the main source (other than OpenSource) of software purchasing for the last nine years - Does anyone have any other suggestions? that would give us NPO pricing?

If TechSoup doesn't, I don't think that anyone will for Microsoft products. In what way are you "over the line" for a non-profit?

Two factors - I needed 14 copies, limited to only 4 per year. Also budget requirement.

                                            • Only organizations with annual budgets of US $10,000,000 or less are eligible to receive this Adobe donation.

I didn't think our NPO was that larger!
