Anyone done this yet?
No, but I would really like to hear how it goes for you.

Will definitely take notes and screen shots.
He asked me to help with his accounting and IT. Was actually the owner of a roofing company that just replaced my parents roof and also owns an auto parts store. So there is inventory.
I told him I don't do that if he'd switch his phones over to me I'd help him migrate for free.
It remains to be seen who is getting the better deal.

@bigbear - Just curious are you planning on using the Xero conversion tool or another method?

I looked at it, but it assumes a large Quickbooks file with all your history.
Quickbooks is so terrible that most people archive it annually and start a new file, even in the $4,000 premium versions with the database server.
I was definitely planning to give it a try, but more likely to export pertinent data from archive and current files to csv and import that way.

Now that I'm setting up an LLC I should probably start looking into this kind of thing.
