Maybe I'm just crazy...

I jumped on mxtoolbox to see what email service a new client was using, and it came back with "Microsoft Office", the host is clearly pointing to Office 365.
But that got me thinking, didn't the verbiage use to say "Office 365" instead of "Microsoft Office", or am I just crazy?

I've never noticed, but why does it matter?

Not that it mattered. Just one of those things I was wondering if it changed. If I had to guess, it changed because O365 is just a service under the larger umbrella "Microsoft Office" now, since they have been pushing the central office.com for their login portal and some other (non-VL) licensing stuff that has office.com as the site to go to.

I think part of it was the double take, where I was used to seeing Office 365 and then saw "Microsoft Office" and thought well what the hell is that... O365? Yep the host shows as O365, so must just be a name change.
