What do you use for a ticketing/inventory system
-
A few days ago I posted a question about creating a ticket with some checkboxes and such to show the work I've done with a user's machine for maintenance purposes. After messing with the SW portal, which could work, it still seemed to me that it wasn't customizable enough. Which brought me to the question of what does everyone else use? Is what you use more customizable than SW is?

There is a new project in these parts, Sodium, but it's very much a work in progress.
It's cloud hosted, so ultimately I don't know how customizable it will be. Of course that will be up to the dev team.
ModEdit: Corrected wording to hosted

Not sure I'd want to be part of a work in progress Although my wife is very much part of one with me so I guess I could give it a shot.

One advantage of being part of a work in progress is that you get influence as to the direction, features, and priorities.

I've used GLPI when I needed a Ticket/Knowledge Base/Inventory system.
