Nah, only the first night. After that it wasn't too bad.
-
@ajstringham Hasn't been bad here all week haha.
-
September is too hot for SpiceWorld. Not thrilled that it's in September again next year.
-
@Dominica You could always start MLworld (or something better sounding)
-
@thecreativeone91 I've heard some talk of a potential MangoCon
-
-
@ajstringham So like next week?

That was a light night!
Agreed. Compared to Wednesday night...dang...
-
Wednesday night was pretty small. Only you made it a big night

So you're saying I was the life of the party?

Since the HP event sucked big ass donkey balls, I bailed on that and had dinner with another attendee who felt the same. We stopped by Iron Works BBQ.
I really wanted to go to the Scale party, but I was planning to meet up with a friend that lives in Austin, which I did.

The HP party was horrible we all left early as well. We split up and did dinner and then met up later at the Handle Bar. Lots of fun for all. Much better then HP's lame party. What the heck were they thinking?

The Scale Cruise was awesome. Really sucks that so many people decided to try the HP thing. The Scale party was the first I have ever attended that I felt was well done at Spiceworld. Normally all of the events are so loud and focused on being a "show" rather than having people talk to each other (kind of the point of a social gathering like that.) But the Scale thing was one of the best opportunities to just sit down with folks and spend some time together in a nice setting and really get to talk to one another. It was really well done.

I would have been there if I had not already planned on meeting my friend.

@Dominica could not make it because she can't do boats due to motion sickness. She was pretty unhappy when she learned that the boat got to see the famous bats of the Congress Street Bridge and the HP party was so awful.
