I dread having to take apart my Acer to get at the fans... I literally have to fully disassemble the laptop to get to the fan.
Yeah I don't like those lol.
The serviceability of the Asus ROG seems pretty good. If I had to end up replacing the fan, I don't think it would be any worse than a Dell Latitude or similar.

No, I ordered it from Amazon and got it in August 2016. It's just under a year old. It's been okay since this morning. But I think Asus only gave a year warranty (at least, maybe it's more).

That was my thought, but now it's not doing it anymore... so who knows. All seems fine now.
