Setting up an Open Stack Server
-
So, I've got a project, where I need to be setting up a server in an Open Stack configuration, with an OS running off of a USB. I've been told to use Ubuntu 14.04 LTS for this, but I've encountered some errors. The server that I'm working on is a Dell PowerEdge R510, and it won't let me do anything to it, until I get the proper "Windows And Dell Drivers". There is no indication as to what drivers these would be, and I'm not able to find them online with information this vague. Any ideas, anyone?

You need new drivers just to install the OS? I'm a bit confused.

@ajstringham Aye, it wants drivers for that. This is UEFI level stuff, and there's no boot options in the regular BIOS.

Can you snap a picture of it with your phone? That would help.

I would have, but it apparently fixed itself... After 5 or so boots, it decided to work.

Maybe the UEFI was choking when you were first booting? I've seen this with BIOSs before.

Possible, I'd assume.

Apparently so. The other two went up without problems.
