ML issues?

I just received a

We are getting that every so often. Not sure why. We've not been able to track it down.
-
Tends to be in the morning, though.
-
Normally though, you can just refresh and it is okay.
-
in my case a refresh did solve it.
-
I was getting that as well overnight.
-
Yeah. Something is going on with the process spiking to 100%.
-
@scottalanmiller Well fix it already! Check to see if a cron job is spiking it.
-
I did check cron this morning
-
Can't visit my favorite "random-thread-anything-goes"
-
I'm still getting terrible latency on the site as a whole but intermittently. Either the site just works or just doesn't.
-
When it works it is lightning fast. I can't big latency but only online devices. When on a desktop it is always insanely fast for me.
Except for when there is a bug and it isn't working.
so far so good this morning. It normally seems okay before 7am EST.

@scottalanmiller I have received "blank pages" (only the menu shows up) while trying to go from one thread to another or back to home using my desktop PC using updated Chrome browser. Also I have had issues with threads stopping halfway the posts and have to reload the page.

Same here.

I've had a all working day today. No issues.
-
I've not seen anything over the last 24 hours. Nor have I see any recent issue reports. I wonder if the site gets hit hard from anonymous users for a bit or if there is a background job that runs or something. Locking up that one thread seems to have helped.

It is really that thread I think, nothing else. It was a high traffic thread and thus would be visited often at various times of the day.
-
You should be able to still visit it, just not post to it. My guess is that it had something to do with the processes needed to do the updates to it that caused the issues. No idea what it could be, though.

I'm looking at the SAR reports now and the CPU has been good all day. One spike four minutes ago to 7% usage but that was all.
-
It has been pretty clear here. Saw one gateway timeout this morning, though, but it was momentary. It was working again as soon as I refreshed the page and very quick again to reload, no delays.
