Cross Posting - XenServer 7.0 improper HDD add/removal

When I attempt to use the export function it says since its in maintenance mode it won't export.

Possibly ok, but I need that VM, if there is a way I can export it first, then nuking that machine isn't a problem.
You can do a full export if you have XenCenter configured, but it would be great for the rebuild to have an Xen Orchestra VM running so you can manage your host(s).
There is a guide around here, give me a moment and I'll grab a link.

Ok so then you should be able to create a small XO build, and export your VM. Once you have the export, just perform a clean Xen Server installation and import the image.

It's stuck in maintenance mode. I can't add new VM's.
-
Is there an alternate way to export the VM file? I recall from ESXi I could remote ftp into the server to download the files. Is it possible to do that with XenServer as well?
-
@krisleslie there is probably a way to do this, but I haven't had to go and do this yet.
-
As for maintenance mode, if you've fixed the storage issues, what happens when you tell the system to exit maintenance mode?

The drives are just stored as VHD files, if that is what you mean?

I can't get SSD2 to remove or repair

But you only need to mount the original SR, not the new SSD, correct?
All you need is to get the system to boot, and run your VM's.

See SSD2 shouldn't be there.

We know, but what you should try to do is get the original Storage repository to mount so you can boot your VM's.
