Linux Insider takes a look at what is new and exciting about the upcoming release of Fedora 24.
"Fedora 24 includes glibc 2.23 for better performance, and improvements to POSIX compliance and GNU Compiler Collection 6. All base packages have been rebuilt with GCC 6, providing better code optimization across all Fedora 24 editions, and improving the overall stability of each addition."
Fedora 24 is loaded with features for all kinds of users.

I just got it installed and put a few applications on it. Works well so far. It's pretty quick.

I installed ZeroTier and SELinux stopped it from running. I changed the context type to Network_Manager_t (or whatever it is) and now it's running. The troubleshooter gave me a giant list of contexts I could use, but I'm not sure if that's the best way to go about it. Just a heads up.
Also, my SSH server was disabled after install. Seems they took after Ubuntu on that one.

Gah, the evil is sneaky in this one. That would have been a very unpleasant surprise.

Ya luckily I was just downstairs and not somewhere else trying to get in.
