Sixteen years ago today (Cinco de Mayo) NTG's Waste Watcher team put their first SaaS cloud application into production. It still is running in production today.

Something you had on your calendar? 🙂

Is it called NTG Waste Watcher or something else? Google search didn't bring up anything. Got a link to the download/description?

There hasn't been a public face to it in a decade or so. No active sales. But customers continue to use it. Very specialized for the medical research field. Sixteen years in continuous production, no down days.

We went live on Cinco de Mayo, so it is hard to forget.

It is a SaaS application used by research hospitals for high accuracy medical and infectious waste tracking, reporting and reduction.

I was thinking of "waste management" like some type of network clean up service... install it as an add-on for Outlook so the user can get a notice "You haven't opened this email in 3 years, get rid of it or have it at rest, you hoarder! Your profile is 50GB."
