So I'm at work today performing server maintenance, rebooting for windows updates and specifically Cloning my Production XenServer USB drive.

So I shutdown everything, remove the USB from my XenServer, and go and clone it. (40 minutes later) I go and reconnect the USB to my XenServer, and it's in a reboot cycle.

      I'm thinking $%^& $%^& $%^& and S%^& D^&* !!!! WTF %^&

When I reconnected the USB boot disk to my XenServer I decided to connect a keyboard to it as well (it's useful right?) well the keyboard was in our IT Room so I figured it must be A-OK. Nope damn thing had the Windows Key and ALT key stuck in.

OK well ^&*(, force power off to the host, pull the Keyboard, and Power up my XenServer.

And we're cooking with Fire again.

Nothing like a downed server to get the heart racing.....

      That's my Saturday....

Your mind races because it can be anywhere from a 2 minute fix of a stuck key to a weekend lost rebuilding a server.

Exactly, I was thinking, "Aww S89+ here goes my weekend"

And it was just a simple fix.
