Neater than Elastix for it? That's been around for a bit.

But you'd never use one outside of a home system, or for a company without a single server. It's interesting from a "neat that someone took the time" standpoint but... is it really interesting? Where would it have any use?

Crazy people who don't consider their phone system important to their business - cause they are trying to save a buck.

Except this would cost extra... takes more time and effort to set up than a VM, more effort to support and $35 extra for the hardwaer

Well FreePBX does not appear to be available on RP, right? So it is a moot point.

Well FreePBX does not appear to be available on RP, right? So it is a moot point.
Nerd Vittles put their distro on RP long time ago and that uses the FreePBX GUI.

Well FreePBX does not appear to be available on RP, right? So it is a moot point.
Nerd Vittles put their distro on RP long time ago and that uses the FreePBX GUI.
I assume lots of people have. But FreePBX themselves have not yet, that I've seen.
