Looking for a new Home Office Desk

I have a straight piece and one of these http://www.amazon.com/BBF-Series-48W-Corner-Desk/dp/B000W8JO9S/ref=pd_bxgy_196_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0NPSYXAKX9M48B5WZ0CE

There are a whole lotta different pieces to go with all of this.

I've looked at DIY projects using kee klamps in the past. Might cost a bit more in parts/labor, but they look like they are made to last and you can design everything to fit your space.

There are tons of examples to work from too: http://www.simplifiedbuilding.com/projects/category/desks-tables/

I see them now.

I want to be lazy and buy something pre-built. I don't have the time to build my own at the moment.

I didn't mean literally pre-built. I know I will have to assemble the desk. I just don't want to design something.

@IRJ
While this guy is a tad cheesy, the build that he did wasn't all that bad. My other desk is a hollow core door on two 2-drawer filing cabinets. My current desk is a custom built desk that is in 4 parts, L shaped.

I had a local cabinet/furniture maker make me an L desk. It is fantastic.

I'll see if I can tidy up my desk at home and send you a pic. It's ~12' long, 4' deep and made to my father's standards (skookum as frig).

If you don't wander across something perfect, an Ikea tabletop with separate legs would probably be bigger and more solid than much else you could find for the price. They won't ship everything they sell, but usually will have an option or two that doesn't add a $349 truck delivery when you add it to the cart. Some of the legs they sell are adjustable height too.

I've never had anything from Ikea that didn't fall apart within a few uses.

My desk is super easy and is from IKEA.
I use it standing now, but it was set lower and I was in a chair for the first couple years.

Most of our furniture is from IKEA and has held up for years with two toddlers in the house.
-
@Jason We only have a handful of different things from there but haven't run into anything like that yet. I've seen a couple of their desk chairs that didn't seem like great values, and I can't speak at all about the several hundred dollar stuff.
But my experience comparing the flimsy particle board and cardboard you can get for the price, they've seemed like a lot better option for a few things.

We are the same, buy almost everything from IKEA. Most houses that we rent are IKEA furnished, too.

We have a lot of ikea furniture also. I think I'm going to build my next desk though. I like them to be fairly deep and it's hard to find one that's not a million dollars.

My current desk at home: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TH0A19E?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00
All glass, L-shaped corner desk. Affordable. Plenty of room for 2x HP 25" displays, plus a small (12 channel) audio mixer, 2x Tannoy Monitors (8" driver, slightly larger than "bookshelf" speakers), and I can even cram a 25 key MIDI controller in there. OK, I cram my home desk w/ music production gear, but you get the point.
