Anyone Using Apple Family Sharing?
-
I've been thinking about using Apple Music, which requires you to use Apple Family Sharing.
While it seems to have a lot of good stuff, it also seems your entire purchase library is shred by default. You can hide stuff, but you have to go in and hide everything you don't want other to see.
No, little one, you CANNOT watch Game of Thrones.
I was wondering if anyone was using Family Share, and what your experiences with it are. Am I overreacting?

That is why you enable rating restrictions. if you do not want people to have access. use the tools provided.

We use family sharing, but have nothing to block so it doesn't come up. All of our apps are for the kids or are business related that we aren't worried about them seeing (oh no, the kids installed MS Office!!) and we get no media from Apple so that protects that naturally.

I use it too. I set it up so my parents could buy stuff as they don't have credit cards. I also don't restrict anything.

Does it show the actual item, and restrict it? Or not show it at all? I am going to set it up and play with it myself soon enough ... was just curious.
Also, there is stuff that isn't rating related that I just might not need everyone to see. It would be nice if you could go the opposite. Everything is hidden, and you enable what you want. But perhaps I'm an outlier. (PROBABLE.)
