Windows 7 Hope this is Right Place

That is pretty crappy.

/wtb a carriage return.

So, if I stumbled my way through that correctly, you were an XP shop that refused Vista (won't argue that) but then never updated to 7 until now?
I put that squarely on bad management/planning/something. Windows 7 has been out for years and was stable out the door. You should have been migrating long before now.
Obviously not knowing anything more about your or the company you work for I cannot truly understand the situation, but from the outside looking in, I feel bad you are stuck in this position now, but it was an avoidable issue. Someone up the chain messed up by putting this off.

Yes, you are right this is the wrong place to Fu** up your post. Never should have written at the end of the day, in a hurry.
I assure you wont happen again, spiiel check should help that. Not enough info, I know I work in IT, Isnt the story long enough, Missed quite a few stumbling blocks, but if I took on 7 educationally, hmm probably couple of years back. Point was, Yes MGMT was irresponsible, I should have pushed harder, but as I said, Maybe I pushed too hard. Work for dolts, get dolty systems. Problem being, I took us from 98 to XP as a consultant to this org. They said "that was the smoothest transition we ever had..." Expected the same this time, hmmmm. Still not enough info, so I leave you here hanging.
Thanks and so long. -
Sounds like you've determined that it is time to start looking for something else. Once you know that you are in an unhappy place it is hard to turn that around. If management doesn't appreciate your work, they never will.

@scottalanmiller
What makes you so good? How do you do it? You can diffuse situations, reply to everything and have all the answers (I mean that in a good way, not cynical). I still say as I stated in the past, You are more than one person. You have to be, no one person is that good..... LOL. If you are one person my hat is off to you, however if you are a team,,, Still my hat is off to you! Thanks for your 'advice' especially the freebee's I did not have to read if I became offended (grammer Nazi). You know, Mgmt needs work and so do I, however I am willing to acknowledge that fact, Others not so receptive.
Thanks, Chris K. -
@JaredBusch
Please don't stumble thru any more of my posts, I know we have different styles, and I really am not asking anyone to read anything they don't understand. If you find my writing confusing because of my style then you have the option to quit reading at any time. I don't expect critics of my posts, I just vented. Not to offend anyone - If I find a post hard to read, I stop reading, and do not reply if I am not sure where this is going no need to let the writer know of my disappointment in their style of communication. Yes, I am a computer geek not an English major, If I was you could read my junk easier. Thanks for Reading anyways - I am sorry I wasted 5? minutes of your life.
Thanks Chris K. -

A wall of text is not easily readable. Breaking the text up will help with comprehension.
Getting horribly insulted and making multiple posts whining because of a simple comment about needing a carriage returns seems to be a bit much.
I read your post and no where stated anything was a waste of time. I also responded with sympathy for you and specifically pointed out it was an avoidable mistake but blamed that on management based on your post.

@JaredBusch
Yes, it is a hard time for me, I usually give better than I receive. Whining about it does not make it better for you or for me. In essence I am sorry.
I am new to this site, still feeling my way through things - built up expectations -etc. You have my take on one side of a problem I have here at work. Without Management chiming in - how do you know if I am being honest with you or just making myself look better?It would be easy to browbeat others and create scenario's where I am the hero and they are the villain, but we all have our reasons for doing things the way we do - right - or - wrong.
You be the judge? How on such meager amounts of information! It is like asking a pc graphic's problem but leaving out you are running corel x6 on a 486/66 with 64M Ram with onboard video, then asking "Why are my 5 meg JPG's taking so long to open? You would naturally assume (at least I may) core 2 duo, 1g ram, at the slow end - but alas Assume came onboard.
Thanks for your input, that is what was important. I may have been fishing, and you took the bait. Left me with some good advice, I unfortunately reacted hastily with hostility and jumped on you for it. No matter, It makes me look bad, but going with the rest of the story, I cannot convey the intense feeling of frustration to you I was under trying to avert what I perceived as a minor/major disaster (still not an excuse for that reaction).
Look how it rolls, downhill, even to people you don't know... Dealing with change easy, dealing with intense emotion's "Crazy Man". Again, Sorry, and thanks.... Maybe someway I can make amends? Then there is always time. Thanks!
