      Tupelo, Mississippi: Man Arrested for Allegedly Detonating Explosive at Local Wal-Mart, Police Say

      Marshall Leonard was arrested by local police Sunday morning. Leonard allegedly had protested against the store for for declining to sell merchandise with the Confederate flag emblem.

                                    University of Tokyo: Scientists Say They Have Developed a Glass Almost as Strong as Steel

                                    The school's Institute of Industrial Science used gas to mix alumina, an oxide of aluminum, and silicon dioxide to make a stronger glass. The findings were published in Nature earlier this month.
