    • What Do You Use? - Send/Receive Large Files, Securely

My users keep complaining that our Exchange server won't accept messages/attachments over 15MB. I keep explaining that email is not meant to be a file transfer service and no one seems to get it. I know there are tons of services out there to do this sort of thing. I would like it to be "secure" and also is it possible to provide a way for people outside our company that do business with us access to send us large files, on demand?

      What are you using?

@scottalanmiller Yeah, that is for sure. I have also never been a fan of laptop gaming and skipped right over their laptop section and went for the desktops.

I would also like to add that you don't need SCCM to deploy images that are pre-configured and automated. Look into MDT with WDS PXE booting. I have it setup and image all PCs. It is included in Windows server licensing.

I haven't set this part up, but you can even have it pull the user profile settings from an older system first then apply it to a new one.

I thought you needed to have SA for the upgrade. You can always check your VLSC account to see what you have. Also, I don't think Windows 10 is any exception to performing clean installs instead of in-place upgrades. I have already seen really strange issues from people doing the in-place upgrades.

I have always been one to build my own rig. Although, these are competitively priced from what I can see.

I have a note 4 right now and am curious what the Note 6 (or probably named 7) will feature for sure. Lots of leaks and rumors. Most likely will be my next phone.

I have touch on my Lenovo ThinkPad T550 and I don't really use it. I would use it more but it has regular hinges so the KB and trackpad are always available.

I use Keepass and update via Ninite Pro. And I have never seen anything to do with ads in the 10 years I have been using it.

    • RE: LastPass Replacement?

I also use Keepass and have been for about 10 years. I store the keepass db in my dropbox folder and the keyfile on my devices and use a master password. On my phone, I mark the keepass db as a favorite or whatever dropbox calls it, and it automatically downloads the latest version when I make changes on one of my other devices.

Taking to social media is a great way to get contacted by customer service for larger organizations. Worked for Frontier communications and some others in the past. Contacted very quickly.

    • RE: Can't cancel auto renew on godaddy domain

@Jason Strange. I have had about 10 domains and even SSL cert renew exactly 30 days before, which is way before I was expecting them to. The SSL, I had to call and cancel because I didn't want it.

Also note that auto-renew is triggered a full month prior to expiration.

I have the UAP‑AC‑LITE and am powering it via the POE pass-through on the ER-X. You just use the POE injector that comes with the AP to power the ER-X, which powers the AP.

    • RE: Moving to a New WSUS server

Did you migrate the DB or are you just setting it up from scratch on the new server? Here is the migration guide, in case anyone needs it.
      https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh852339.aspx

I did this about a year ago. Wasn't too bad. Make sure to update your GPO to reflect the new server name.
