Out of interest, what's the purpose of @mlnews exactly? ie why post links to other websites, many of which we read anyway?
SEO is probably a big one.

I'm from the Buffalo area, so yeah. Definitely heard of people doing that.
Ok, so this is not something totally foreign to you?
Not something I would do, but something I know people do.
I do shots of hot sauce if I have a terrible cold. Does wonders as a decongestant.
Ok, that's good to know. Second question...does anyone know of a good place in NY to buy a hotsauce called Red Devil? Trader Joes maybe? Maybe @Minion-Queen can take a look around next time she is there...

Over SMB, yes. Its painful to move on windows and when things go wrong, manage using MAC to rename and then copy. Reason I am using windows is, I have teracopy which handles file copy much better than default file copy tool in windows.
Amen to that.
I got 3 out of 15 @NetworkNerdWifey . Don't feel bad. That was a really random SW test!
This did it.

Amazon is your friend.
Score
Yeah yeah...
Beautiful! Everything works as it should now!
While I am a firm believer to digital media, this IS kinda true...LOL

May I ask why you need those specific versions of the software? Why will the latest not work? Also, I've only got limited exposure to Kaseya, and only from the Windows side, but do you have a Kaseya license for this? Or do you just need a general VNC agent? Would RealVNC or TightVNC work instead? Also, what do you mean by "snapshot of every software"? That makes no sense.

So what company hired you?
An MSP called nDivision. VERY high level Dell partners. They've had phenomenal growth since their founding, so I'm excited to kind of get in on the ground floor.
Cool. What will you be doing?
L1/L2 work for their clients on the break/fix side. As far as what that fully entails, I couldn't tell you at this point. But I'll be able to Google issues I'm having that I'm not familiar with again...I've missed that.
I've seen rather slow download speeds before. Comparable to this.

What does taking a snapshot of the software mean to your manager? That's not a normal term. It doesn't mean anything specific in this instance.
Yup, I asked about this before, because his manager seems to love to make up terms.
Got walked out of McAfee this morning. Called my new job and I should be starting Monday!
So I learned from the HP rep who comes to Staples that, to date, over 95% of people who have signed up for the HP instant ink program, which to be fair is relatively new, have kept the subscription so far. Personally, especially for people who are snowbirds or do very minimal printing, this is a very cost-effective solution. The only downside is the printer must maintain an active internet connection for it to work. While this isn't really an issue for most home users, I could see it being an issue, potentially.
Silly question, but I've seen the term ERL used a lot on ML lately. What is an ERL?

boy, at this point you should be getting expedited shipping...
Agreed. If this is their screw-up, which it is, then they need to make it right, and not over the course of 8 days...
