Sleep in your car until you get that first paycheck. You will be alot better off in the longrun
And be homeless?
Homeless temporarily and rich long term? Or poor and never be without a home.
I lived in my car for a week in 1997 to get through.
The thing is, I don't have a big car. I'm a big guy. I suppose it's feasible, but I like coming home to something.

@Eric If it's loo, it needs to be "In the Loo" or "On the Loo". Loo alone doesn't make sense and makes @dominica think potty humor is acceptable/normal...
Does it need to be "in the water closet" then?
Yes. Absolutely.

RE: Facebook doing away with annoying requests to send friends gift cards
@Joyfano said:
Facebook is getting out of the business of gift card peddling.
You will no longer be prompted with a wrapped-present icon to send your friends a Starbucks (SBUX) or Target (PBCFX) gift card on their birthdays -- Facebook's (FB, Tech30) Gifts service is set to be discontinued.
Launched in September 2012, Gifts will no longer be available as of August 12, according to a Re/code report. Facebook did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The Gifts app was already scaled down from allowing users to purchase and send tangible presents, to exclusively e-gift cards activated by digital codes.

RE: Kinda Wish I Was in Austin...
- Tornados are much smaller and if one does happen to touch down in Dallas, chances of it hitting my building are slim.
- FL is the Sunshine State. I hate sunshine!
- FL gets almost as hot as Texas but with much higher humidity.

RE: Standing Out from the MSP Masses
@Nic Good to know. Webroot had a very bad rep a few years ago but I must say that they've done an incredible job turning it around. They've managed to pull the hat trick so many companies would like to but refuse to do because the methods required are often considered too extreme.

RE: Feature Requests
Just so everyone is aware this thread is going to be locked for now. Starting this was a mistake on my part as it is too early in this community's history to start taking feature requests.
If you do have a feature request or something you would like to see added, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line as "Feature Request".

Yeah, but most of us don't work at Fortune 1000 companies.
Most people actually do. And, for example, you do.
Yeah, I know. Still, training budgets seem like a dream to most IT people that I see.

RE: Unitrends and Office365
@dashrender Also, why would/does anyone use POP3 anymore? It's a dead protocol. Only ones I see using it still are ISPs like TWC, Verizon, etc. Serious email providers like Gmail and all business providers (or almost all) use IMAP. POP3 is just not smart and in the age of multiple devices, POP3 is stupid.

InfoWorld: Windows 9 A New Hope
Hopefully it's better than Windows 8 was. It can't be much worse...
8 was ok but should have been only ever a beta. 8.1 should have been the retail release of 8.
8.1 is orders of magnitude better for non-touch screen users. They released a platform when there was almost no hardware to utilize its design. That was the biggest flaw with Windows 8. If they had it straight to desktop for desktops, laptops, etc and tablets got the more RT feel, it would have been much more successful. Their blanket statement was their blanket failure.
