What about security? I don't have company (or higher) secret information or financials, but there are times I want to note something, and know that it's not going to be compromised. UserID or Password information is something that comes to mind right off.

The cross platform sync is nice..mobile to desktop,.. but I'm concerned with keeping it secure should the device go missing, or that the information is 'floating in a tin can',...

Evernote Premium offers Passcode Lock to secure the app on your phone or tablet. Evernote and older versions of OneNote offer password protection or encryption of single pages only on the desktop clients.

@Minion-Queen Ability to "spawn" a new ticket when customer tries to add new problem/project to existing ticket.

And of course work with all mobile platforms.

@Minion-Queen I use Evernote for personal stuff and for website information I might want later. I drop those pages into different notebooks like cooking, WordPress, marketing, IT related, etc.

I started using it when OneNote was clunky to use on an Android. But nothing can touch the rich formatting experience of OneNote!

@Hubtech don't have one as I opted for the original AsusTransformer TF101 tablet and keyboard a few years back.

I have it but don't normally use Android except for testing. So just setup it up all the way. No you can't use take control. You can see what is going on but have to go to Chrome and access it like you would on your desktop to takecontrol and work on things.

Well for me it's totally useless. For some reason they think we would only want to use it on a phone. I put in the api and the server info and I can't get it to switch to the workstation tab, which means it's useless.

I found an app for MAX RM for Android and see that the review are pretty bad.

How do you feel about it?

Does it allow you to use TakeControl too?

    • Do we have a MAX RemoteManagement Guru here?

Just like the title says. I am spending way to much time tinkering and searching http://maxfocus.com, http://linkedin.com and Google for really simple queries and coming up with nothing to use.

If you are guru or know you way around the program please say so. I will start posting questions individually, maybe we can become the default resource for MAX RemoteManagement platform.

@Minion-Queen did you see the part about merging the two technologies? Oy...I liked that they were separate.

Yes I am not very happy at all. I like the separation!

How can they merge them? If you have a hotmail and a work Office365, that's two separate accounts and two different types of OneDrives...

I don't know, this is MS...they do things either awesomely or assbackwards.
