Has anyone used Google Voice for their business. I want to get personal calls on my cell phone and also use Google Voice on my cell (different number) for business clients. Would this work?

I have used GoogeVoice on an Obi100 for years. I do not use it for business though.

As an one man shop I decided to use my cell as our business phone when I opened shop in 2003. The number is on all of our business info as well as online.

Port your cell number to Google Voice or RingTo. Problem solved.

Called support weeks ago and after a lot of phone calls and emails, I informed MS that they can close the support ticket.

The issue was that I couldn't use my O365 login (MS business/org account) to log into Microsoft Office Mobile App. It would work with my personal MS account.

They said it was because I had the same address for both. However on the web, or with Android apps such as OWA, Outlook, Word and Excel worked with my O365 Account.

Earlier this week I read an article about new Android Apps and now the Office Mobile app says:

*** Try the new Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps! Now available for Android tablets and phones in the Google Play store: http://aka.ms/worda, http://aka.ms/excela, http://aka.ms/ppta. These new apps replace Office Mobile. **
Microsoft Office Mobile is the Office companion for phones running Android OS prior to v4.4.”

So since my phone is 4.4.2, it's not supposed to work.

Trouble shooter had me login using [email protected] which worked. However next step was using the [email protected] which says:

The account you used to sign in is not provisioned for Skype for Business services.

Arrg...troubleshooter says get a password change.

@scottalanmiller The amount of feature upgrades they do monthly is fantastic. I've never been disappointed in their product. Support is pretty damn quick as well.

LIke a good [email protected] is there!

@Dashrender at this moment in cPanel I have to change the password and give it to them. There is a reset of the password IF they know what the old password is.

According to cPanel support, this will be addressed some day.

@scottalanmiller Thanks...I didn't think so, but with this client, I had to be 100% sure.

Most tools, like WordPress as an example, do an export for every backup operation.

Oh, so if you're using AT&T for 9 sites and your 10th site only has access to Verizon or TWC, you're screwed out of that site getting MPLS?

      @scottalanmiller said:

      Yes

Well, in the T1 days, you still could due to the regulations on it. AT&T could order a Verizon T1 and lay their network on it. This was really a very standard practice back in the day.

      viruii? 😛

Virus plural is either viruses or viri. As it lacks a Latin plural (which would be viri) due to being a mass noun and misused in English there is a grey area as to how the plural should be formed, in the Germanic viruses way or the Latin viri way.

I prefer viri to be consistent in the use of the Latin for Latin nouns even if the Romans didn't use them as a plural, had they done so it would have been viri and our lack of knowledge of the word should not vary our usage thereof. I attempt to use this consistently although it is hard with so many words plural forms being unknown to English speakers (campus, bonus, fungus, etc.)
