@NerdyDad me too. We love fresh herbs. Sage, lavender, rosemary. Rosemary grows great here. I'd love having some big rosemary bushes like we had in Italy.
I think rosemary also repels mosquitoes so yes, definitely worth it. Definitely recommend on getting a programmable watering controller. Something like https://www.orbitonline.com/products/sprinkler-systems/timers/timers/outdoor-wifi-timer/b-hyve-6-station-smart-wifi-sprinkler-timer-v2-2543

I'd really like to get this going today. I'll try the live chat again soon.
Hi Tim!
Sorry for a late reply. Actually the free version includes everything but the Virtual Tape plugin.
The easiest way to try VTL is to opt in for the trial version. You'll get a trial key you can apply to your free installation without reinstalling. -

How does @StarWind_Software work with NVMe?
We're also bringing NVMe storage to a new level. With added iSER support we improved hybrid environments with NVMe tiers. For all-NVMe environments we're also adding NVMf (NVMe over Fabrics) support within a few weeks. Keep in mind NVMe storage will need 100 GbE interconnect.
Sounds great. I'm not really up on iSER. I know it is like an iSCSI upgrade, when would I / can I use it? What do I need to take advantage of that?
So iSER is iSCSI extensions for RDMA. In a nutshell you get much better latency and use less CPU while getting more IOPS out of your storage. Really important for all-flash, almost crucial for Flash/NVMe hybrid storage setups.

Are there plans to continue building the Powershell library, or will you be moving towards a cross-platform API?
It's actually going to be both, as Swordfish is being developed too.

@QuixoticJeremy - We don't have a mandatory requirement for a hardware RAID.
In most setups with Windows Server 2012 R2 & Linux we'll use a hardware RAID, but with WS 2016 we're also starting to allow Storage Spaces for some configs. -

@dafyre For now it has the same licensing policy as its Windows relative. And the one we provide on the website does have a special version of the Free license, so I'd suggest grabbing it while it's still there

RE: Sub $600 laptopposted in IT Discussion
@scottalanmiller - no whining with mine. I do have the first XPS 13 from the 2015 series, which had display problems (had to change it 2 times because of dead pixels you don't notice from the first glance on the 4K display)
But now the only noise I don't like is the Power supply infrasonic when I charge a powerbank through onboard USB. Shouldn't be a big issue since it seems to be only me who hears it anyway.
XPS13 is a great machine for doing everything on the go, the only downside for me is the 4K display with some Windows apps and dual display setups. -
RE: Xiaomi's New $362 Bests Samsung Galaxy S8 for Half the Priceposted in News
@scottalanmiller - you can actually buy one while you're in Kyiv. We do have all of them available officially at approximately the same prices as in CN. Most of them are also dual SIM/SIM+MicroSD so you can either "Scale Out" the carrier coverage, or Scale up the storage
