I am now in the market to replace my cell phone, since my iPhone has the dreaded touch disease.

I'm not locked into Apple, so I am open to options. I hated my last Samsung phone, but I've been looking at the Google Pixel. I'm looking for some discussion here on what everyone uses. I'm sure it will be a mixed bag for sure...

This will be a very mixed bag. @scottalanmiller will say iphone is the only choice, I personally prefer my edge by far and it has better reviews last time I checked. Google Pixel has good reviews as well. I doubt you'll get a straight answer.

And watch how many people dive back into the flood waters to take their chances with the snakes and gators?

Thats their choice, but at least the church would be doing what it was originally meant to do.

I thought the original goal of the church was as a money grab to help people as they traveled. With the expectation of leaving something of value to the church as a form of gratitude. . . .

The purpose of the church is many things:

      1. Help imperfect people become more like Christ
      2. Spread the Good News of the Gospel to everybody.

As everyone is imperfect, this applies to everyone. Pastors included.

edit: also to help support each other through personal struggles and to help with each other's relationship with God.

Well it's like those televangelists that actually spoke on and tried to justify the need for private jets. This is obviously not what true Christianity is about and I'm sure most people realize that. These are just public figures abusing religion for monetary gain.

Same religious philosophy of the private school that I went to in the 1980s. They preached wealth doctrine and everything looked to Victorian era rich tent preachers and nothing to the Bible. Exact same "bad things happen to bad people, rich people are to be worshipped" cult practices.

It rains on the just and unjust the same.

The unjust can afford their own jet to get the hell out of wherever it is raining. . .

Unless they're in Houston where flights are probably grounded....

      No, people are just stupid.

Pretty honest slamming of the Joel Osteen.

There's a thread on reddit about it too.

lol guess they figure off hours for youtube is during the work day compared to night time when people have free time to look at youtube. How does the new interface look?

    • RE: What Is RAID 0? SAMIT Video

@fuznutz04 as long as @scottalanmiller doesn't have an issue with you doing it to his videos you can always do this yourself with https://www.dvdvideosoft.com/ .

It's freeware that will allow you to convert youtube videos to mp3 or any other format really that you want. That being said I obviously don't condone using this for illegal behavior, but if scott doesn't have an issue. Also ifyou choose to go this route it would likely be wise to do an av/malware scan before using this as it has been ages since I've touched it and can't verify that the company hasn't changed hands or is now ran by someone else. It use to be perfectly fine but I can't vouch for it after 5 years of not using it.

NK has fired a missile over Japan

Maybe Japan all those countries near him, such as Japan and China and South Korea should start firing missiles over in their direction.

Seems to me this guy is really trying to start a war -- Saber-rattling or not.

Yeah, sure seems like he wants war, which makes no sense to me because it seems like it would spell his complete and total annihilation.

I was thinking the same thing - but then I considered China - what would they do?

Well didn't they recently change trade agreements that showed their desire to split away from N. Korea? I believe they stopped trading coal to them which was a large portion of N.Korea's coal. It's been a bit though so I don't know if I'm 100% accurate on that.
