This is America. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. Whether you agree with them or not, that is your opinion, but he is still POTUS. Your opinion doesn't change that.

RE: What Are You Watching Now
@rojoloco Then how about Obama? He was an idiot too. The right was saying it all 8 years. And yet, there he was. Still POTUS.

RE: What Are You Watching Now
@momurda You're turning a tool that POTUS put in place just because you don't like the person. Sorry you don't like him, but this is just a system. If he abuses the system will be a different story. Separate the person from the position in your mind. Respect the position. You don't have to respect the person.

@wirestyle22 What are you talking about? Its just a notification system. Unless there is something else you know that I don't.

I'm excited this one is coming to Dallas. I'd be happy to give a talk if there are slots available.
Let me guess. vSAN?

RE: What did you have for lunch or dinner today?
A steak guy brought in pizza. <sigh> I guess either the steak guy couldn't find a good source of steaks or he didn't have time to cook them all up. Either way. I am still really disappointed that he just produced pizza, and a really crummy salad.

From what they've reported so far it looks like the only way to know if they know that you've been affected is if you're forced to login when you're not normally.
I'm one of them :face_screaming_in_fear:
Me too
Me as well even with my 2FA and all... and no suspicious account logins...
Not me, thankfully.

@scottalanmiller Their headline isn't accurate. Not only were they attacked, they were compromised.

OffsiteDataSync - Anybody have any experience with them?
Anybody here ever used or have experience with OffsiteDataSync? Claim to be out of Rochester. Started as an MSP and specialized in backing up O365. Wanted to get everybody else's thought on them.

@wrcombs Check to make sure your PBX is still up?

RE: First Time travel for Conference- Best Practices?
@wrcombs Boss used his card both times and both times, the hotel wanted the card physically. Didn't matter if you already reserved the rooms ahead of time. It was the 3rd Party form that saved my hide both times.

RE: First Time travel for Conference- Best Practices?
If you don't have a company credit card for your hotel stay, call ahead and ask for a 3rd party authorization form. That way they will have your boss's (or whoever's) credit card on file. And keep a copy of that form with you. I was almost homeless in San Francisco for a couple of days because of that one.
Going to and from the airport, I prefer airport shuttling, second would be Uber/Lyft.

It is the standard way for orgs that dont go all in O365/Azure
You get O365 cloud services, but can manage it from your local AD setup. That is what AADConnect is for.
