The Three Body Problem. Haven't gotten too far into it but so far it's pretty good.
Love it, the series is great. Don't think I've read anything else that approaches the Fermi Paradox from the angle that this one does.

Most important thing - finding something that motivates you and you enjoy doing.
This is 100% true. I miss Taekwondo, and had to stop because of knee pain. My goal is to get in shape enough to return and practice without unnecessary pain.
A buddy of mine got back in to fix his knee pain, ha ha. The human body is an amazing thing.
Any place you train should be able to help with stuff like this. Tell your coaches that you have an injury or experience pain when doing certain types of exercise.
All of the places I've worked out in, that were worth being a part of, have been able to modify the workout to accommodate the needs of most people.

Making some chili on Saturday for the UFC fight. And hopefully I'll get to watch Conor McGregor lose a belt.
Pretty sure Nurmagomedov currently holds the belt that's on the line.

Amazon has had this for a while now with workspaces.
They have, but Workspaces is essentially incapable of running Excel. Makes it a bit of a no go if you're tied to MS Office which a lot of people are.
Sounds like there is a lot of Sunk-Cost going on if your stuck to using Excel for your business critical functions. . .
Business critical or not, getting people to change is hard. Frequently they will spend large amounts of money to avoid it.
MS Office is definitely a solid example of a product that induces such behavior.

I really need to get my Calibre library back up and running. Just finished the Fifth Season by NK Jemisin and I'm fairly certain the sequels are already in there. They definitely need to find their way onto my phone!

So it sounds like you are maybe looking for recs mostly in the cyberpunk field but probably not exclusively.
If you haven't read any Gibson you should do it post haste.
I think something like the Marid Audran novels starting with When Gravity Fails by George Alec Effinger would also be excellent for you.
For something (relatively) recent and super cool but not cyberpunk check out Folding Beijing by Hao Jingfang. Not exactly SF or Fantasy, but has some great stuff going on.
Edited to add: Lady of Mazes by Karl Schroeder would also be an excellent addition to your list. It is more straight SF but has some really excellent takes on how augmentation might play out.
You're reminding me of how long it's been since I've ready Isaac Asimov's stuff. I need to pick up digital versions of the robot series'.
When @wirestyle22 first asked for recommendations of SF/Fantasy cross over stuff I had thought about suggesting Childhood's End due to he heavy use of psychic powers but I don't think it's really where he's headed. Good stuff though and worth a read.

Any one have a book recommendation for something sci-fi but also fantasy? Anything good in that space?
Perhaps you have an example or two that you have read and enjoyed to help us along?

RE: Non-IT News Thread
Are they basing them on the games or the original novels by Andrzej Sapkowski? Perhaps a bit of a mix...

Finally finished the last season of Babylon 5. Such an excellent series.
Oh man, I need to go back and watch that. Is it on some streaming service?
Amazon Prime Video
Oh nice, I didn't realize. That's awesome. Going to start that soon!
Yup, @JaredBusch got. The "What is coming soon" email is what got me back on it. I never got to watch all of it live, so this was my first time through the whole thing.
Same for me. Came during an era when I didn't have time for TV. Now, binging it, sounds like the way to go.
Fifth season is a bit slow. I think the writers were surprised that they added another season on the end. I liked the last half of the season, and they did an excellent job finishing the series and wrapping up the major remaining stories.
What I have heard in the past is that they planned the story for 5 seasons from early on but it looked like they were getting the ax at the fourth. Their response was to shoehorn the biggest events from 2 seasons of planned content into one so they could have an ending.
Then they got surprise renewed and had to scrounge to fill out the episodes in season 5.

RE: Samsung DeX Docking Station Desktop Coming Soon
I've been telling people this sort of thing is what to expect for the future of computing solutions for some years now.
Not sure this is the device that will make it catch on but we are ever closer to it being a truly useful option.
