There are a handful of brands that typically get a nod for situations like this, Humanscale is another that hasn't been mentioned yet.

If you have a low threshold on cost for your chairs Ikea has or at least had some decent options. Stuff that's not crazy expensive, decent build quality, and at least some adjustment. Looks like their models are different now from what I have experienced but might be worth checking out.

Edit: Major fail here with re: to the fact you have a prescribed supplier. I'd look for adjustable seat height, depth, and lumbar support as a base line. I took a glance at some of the stuff on there and sadly didn't spot anything with all of those options.

That looks to be a decent approach! TBH I cheated and used a subnet calculator to look up the final address quickly. I haven't done that stuff by hand in rather a long time so I don't have any amazing suggestions for alternatives.

In answer B, Network A starts at 172.30.8.0 and ends at 172.30.11.255. The other three networks suggested are in a space that is already taken by that range.

That could definitely happen where I work. We have a lot of people who use caps lock for all capitalization purposes, so there is room for that to be busted, and now they are having to hold the shift key down while pushing a letter. Mayhem ensues!

Also a bit hesitant to say I really know it but have experience. Mostly managing Android devices.

I have people hunting for solutions that allow large meetings currently. North of the commonly available 150-300 attendees range that I see on most products.

Anyone have suggestions for that?

Some people at my company are looking for a new solution to map sales territories and service areas.

So far they are apparently looking at this. Strikes me as a bit amateur hour with mediocre to bad advice and FUD nonsense in the ad copy.

Yeah, they pretty much ripped it die roll for die roll from 4e from the people I've talked to.

The combat system was the thing I (and most gamers) hated the most about 4e.

This was quite a bit of fun. I'm not a minis and hexes gamer typically so I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I think it made a huge difference with how the mechanics of the various mechs worked out. It is a very tightly designed game. No one felt over powered compared to the rest, we ended up winning both scenarios, but it was by very narrow margins.

I've heard good things about Lancer to be honest. I'd like to try it at some point. I think the mechanics need to fit the setting and they do a much better job in this instance.

Mechanics need to fit intent. I have a hard time believing that the 4e need for pre-configuring grid based battles can be reconciled reasonably with any sort of decent narrative experience.

Curious how they try to handle the core rules being inherently incompatible with one of their stated goals.

It takes some work to wrap your mind around if you're more used to narrative systems. We played a quick encounter that was just mechs on a hex grid so that we could learn the mechanics and figure out how the rules worked. Once we got done we sat back and looked at each other and said "That was great, but I am having trouble wrapping my mind around how this connects with narrative." It took some time to get that sorted in our own heads, but it was doable. I found that once I had fully fleshed out my pilot that I was able to integrate the narrative into the tactical system. I think it just takes the right group of players.

Maybe 4e was the wrong comparison. I haven't played it, so I can't make an accurate comparison.

Eh, when narrative gets dropped in the description of an RPG I have a tendency to go straight into gamist, simulationist, narrativist analysis mode(which is probably considered outdated at this point anyway). They may not mean what I'm thinking when I see that.

Anyway, I had fun playing 4e once I got over it not being what I expected from previous iterations of D&D. I suspect there's some good juice to be wrung from a game using a similar system to run giant robot fights.

If it's a fully shared (controlled by all) calendar, I would choose Can edit.

That does not answer the question

It is a normal user, the admin account. That went to their calendar and clicked new calendar. They then shared it as shown.

Then I don't understand the question - I said - choose "Can edit" that's one of the choices you showed as an option.

WTF does "Can Edit" mean? Is it actually the most open access? I have no idea.

It's all hidden from the GUI now as far as I know but higher access levels still exist. The only thing I've actually run into people trying to use that requires it is messing with categories.

You have to be a Publishing Editor or Owner to work with them.

I usually end up assigning those for users using PowerShell when the need arises.

Downloaded Witcher 3 yesterday.

I'm still trying to get back into Witcher 1 and finish it, lol.

I still need to do that, too.

I played Witcher 1 when it was new and sort of recalled it being at least a decent game. Tried replaying 1 and playing 2 when I picked up 3 as I got them in bundle form.

Could. Not. Do. It.

After butting my head against mediocre to bad writing and awkward game play, I skipped to 3. I really enjoyed Witcher 3 and may play again. Certainly if they do another, I'll give it a go, but I will not be attempting the older titles again.

The only VR setup that I'm aware of for Switch straps the whole system to your face like the cell phone VR kits - Labo VR.

I have a release model PSVR. It was a decent entry level unit at the time I bought. I am given to understand that more recent versions have had some upgrades. They are also significantly cheaper than they were when it came out.

With PSVR you are tied to the system with a cable. You can stand and move around a bit but it requires some care.

Also controls are handled with either a standard PS4 controller or the PS Move controllers. The Move controllers are essentially Sony's response to the Wii, so kind of an old hold over tech. Controllers for current PC VR platforms are going to be more advanced/precise.

PSVR is relatively inexpensive, easy to setup/use, and performs reasonably well.

Other platforms are available that will likely provide a superior experience but will probably cost a bit more.

Game libraries are going to be larger for PC but there are a few exclusives for PSVR that people seem to like pretty well such as Astro Bot Rescue Mission.

I picked up Divinity Original Sin 2 on sale, for the Switch. It's good, but hard!

That game is so mean sometimes. There are some stupid things you can do that will kill just about anything in the game supposedly. Tried to get through without that. Currently have a save at the final battle. Some day I'll pick it up and give that last bit another go.

The path is there in the form of a symbolic link. So, no. It's one way to limit exposure to ransomware.

Yeah, I fairly often have to copy files into a user profile here and there. I did notice that the disk is only mounted for the duration of their session and obviously would prevent interaction with it if the user is logged out. But, mounting the VHDX isn't that bad... if I had to do it when they were logged out. I would have to revisit a tool I just saw somewhere that allows you to quickly match the VHDX file with the user, since it only uses the SID in the file name.
