Yes, but if, hypothetically, most of your posts are vitriolic bile, then it doesn't matter how much you post. No one likes a troll.
Most of my posts are very mild to say the least but I still like to think that I'm lurking in the shadows and mildly-difficult to track over the interwebs 
I know I'm not but for the type of surface level searches that companies do, I think that I'm difficult enough to find a lot on without investing a large, less attractive amount of time.
EDIT: Yes, that could work against me but I'm not worried, I don't think I'd like a job where they had to put that much research into me.
