Just bought ASUS 1080 Strix, for $550+10%tax. Still 200 dollars more than they should be but less than 2 months ago when they were about 800/each.
Couldnt take the failing fan bearing noise in my 290 anymore, and i should get 2x the performance and much less power usage for games and BOINC. -

Ads for 3rd party stuff in Win10 1803...posted in Water Closet
Seriously wtf.
Just installed 1803 on a computer, hit start and there is this Dolby Access shit in the middle of the start menu. It is a store app that is an ad for Dolby Atmos headphones, yet looks like it is just a regular windows program in the Start Menu. -

Ive been playing Warframe this week. First time putting more than a few minutes in. No idea what the story is, but the combat is fun. The 'space bucks to buy fake things with real money' for this are 50% off during Summer Sale, will probably get one.

@wrx7m I love how even the people working at MS dont bother with showing the contents of This PC because it is sooo bad. The pictures on that site would have had to be twice as high vertically.
Also this tool has the same problem that @scottalanmiller pointed out with their SharePoint Online tool; it only works for data going to MS, not the other way round.

The training is $50/month, not bad. Also available at some community colleges. Would need to know the quality of it though. Also the salary they state seems way too high for desktop support, unless that is average in SF or somewhere else.

Look at these corporate crime apoplogists. Seriously, corps need to be smacked down regularly. Even small ones. Companies being forcibly shut down for malfeasance should be a regular thing.
