Which is followed by "it's not reported until there is a ticket."
Nothing is ever a problem until it's ticketed.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
@thwr 500ML cans of Warsteiner which floated over the atlantic ocean two years ago are probably not very representative of the beer. I much prefer Hacker-Pschorr (at least we get that in glass bottles!)

RE: Weekend Plans
Stitches come out tomorrow! Hopefully by the end of the weekend I'll be feeling a ton better.

I just remembered that the band bought a new audio interface, so I'll be recabling the entire rehearsal space on Saturday. But I find that enjoyable, so yay recording gear!
This weekend will be running new conduit and preparing all the electrical for the kitchen.
Depending on how far that gets, I will get flooring installed.
I would much rather run cables than do flooring, because I've done flooring. Best of luck, hope you get it knocked out.
I really like the engineered flooring they are coming out with. Floating floors and click/lock flooring are stupid easy to install. For a kitchen though I would do the ceramic tile that looks like wood. It's gorgeous but takes a lot of skill to get it installed right.
In a few years we are getting a house built. That will be a can of worms I'm sure.
Pro tip: DON'T get tile counter tops anywhere, kitchen or bathroom. Those are the current bane of my homeowning existence.
Yikes lol
I am reconsidering my dream of a concrete kitchen.

Concrete counter or stone counter tops all the way!
I really really like polished concrete. I'd do the floors (through out the house!), counter tops, you name it.
Agreed, polished concrete is really nice if you get someone who does it well. It isn't the most comfortable to stand on for long periods of time. They have really nice texture/color finishes that polish smooth but look like they have grit in them.
I'd do the whole place as polished concrete but I'd paint the floor of the Kitchen white with abrasive grit in the paint so you could spill water everywhere and not invent the worlds worst slip and slide.

I ordered this cleaver for myself yesterday, can't wait until it arrives... 176 true layers of Damascus steel...
Gorgeous! Do you get into sharpening them yourself? I've got a whole selection of water stones and diamond plates

Good to be back in action! I was going crazier.

Currently doing last minute packing for MANGOCON LET'S DO THIS IT'S TIME
That will be me tomorrow.
Do I need pants?
Should I bring this Commodore 64?
Is this more than 3 ounces?-According to this police officer, flight attendant and air marshall that are yelling at me, you should bring pants.
-ABSOLUTELY YES
-Depends on what it isWell don't wear short-shorts that let your family jewels hang out and they wouldn't be yelling....
Key is to make sure the floss like seam goes right in the middle of your bag so there's minimal drooping / dangling.
Things I've learned at the Toronto pride parade lol

See you soon!
Last minute packing would imply that I have even started packing right?
Nah
My train leaves in 8 hours. I need to be on the local line in 6.5
I have not packed.
And I still have to connect the new stove in the kitchen so my wife can cook while I am gone.
Got a towel?
Not quite panicking yet. but busy for sure. Time to ignore you all for a bit.
I'm a little hurt :(.
It's ok, I ignore y'all most of the time

@MattSpeller I know...as far as I'm concerned we haven't had a good president since the 1980s
History will probably agree with you (probably even earlier than the 80s) but I am a fan of Bill and Obama - neither are saints but neither completely screwed the pooch as it were.
Still would charge both with war crimes, ditto the Bushes and I'd just lock up a few others and forget about the keys (kissenger, etc)
Haha...outside of an IT forum I would argue those with you...but I hate when political discussions happen on here.
The war crimes charges or Bill and Obama? lol - I'd happily agree that Bill and Obama are not shining examples of awesomeness. Define "good president"
The war crimes charges are pretty hard to argue with. Note that I'd charge them - let the Hague sort it out. Be a good example even if they were not convicted - make sure that future presidents are more careful with their powers.

Ditto - unless it's an LS engine it's not worth it.
Pleased to say that my last day driving a Cruze was Saturday - get my new (to me) Silverado tomorrow.
