We've been using ClearOS in our branch offices for almost 4 years. http://www.clearfoundation.com/Software/overview.html

Pretty straight forward and easy to manage using the web interface.
I loved ClearOS prior to version 6. I gave up on it after that.

@Bill-Kindle do you not have recurring charges now?

More likely, they are not being accounted for as such.

    • RE: What would it take to get your boss to move to office 365?

We are an IT company so the only reason we did not switch to Office 365 was because we already had a SBS2011 server setup and no real need to spend the non-billable time to switch things.

Then MS changed their partner program this year and even our developer version of the program gets 5 free licenses. So as there are only 4 of us, I switched it last week. Need to finish moving the shares and such to a Server 2012 R2 VM and then shoot the SBS 2011 install one of these days.

I will recommend pfSense as a firewall/router or Vyatta.

had I the money to do such philanthropy, I would certainly not talk about it on some social media site because all that does is invite the beggars.

Shit tons of people have horrid financial outlooks and most have lost hope. But there are so many people who just want a free buck that being so genuinely philanthropic is a lot of work.

I just upgraded the server from 4.1 to 4.2 last week and it was so seamless. Then pushing out to the devices was simply a matter of selecting the devices and telling them to reinstall.

    • RE: What is Your Favourite Movie?

My favorite movie of all time remains "The Princess Bride"

I enjoy watching Science Fiction and Fantasy movies in general. I will also watch a Wuxia at the drop of a hat. That interest stemmed off the Sci-Fi/Fantasy element a lot of the Wuxia movies have.

@scottalanmiller chrome still useful to get sync and such. So there are reasons to use it. Also UI differences and gestures, etc.

Chrome on iOS has worked well for me.

Doesn't that use Safari under the hood? I heard that on some site (oh yeah, this one) recently.

Basically, yes, all iOS browsers are the same underneath.

Thoughts on Chrome and Safari Speed
It is not surprising that both browsers perform similarly, since both run WebKit, the browser engine developed by Apple and the only engine that Apple allows browsers to use on iOS devices. As for why Safari might be a tad slower than Chrome, the only thing that comes to my mind is that Safari might be loading some other elements simultaneously, like its Reader mode, which renders a text-only version of any website.

It's an eleven year old Cuisinart. It still seems new to me but it was a wedding present. We have five coffee makers but it is by far the best.

I have a Cuisinart also, but only a year old though. My wife bought it as my birthday gift last year.

I've seen that phone listed as both 41P & 41G - Yealink's website does have it as 41P so I will have our guys change the website. Also good call on the line stating the PSU is included with the 42G - that should state "not included"

Order placed today (finally). Thanks for the feedback Jim. I also used the chat on your website and spoke with John for another question prior to placing my order. Great customer service!
