I had that problem with Dell boxes before. I had to install the drivers separately.

Got a spare Unifi AP hanging around the office? I'd go with a commercial device as a test. Also, make sure yo use various ports on the Verizon router

    • RE: Any Dungeons and Dragons Players?

I used to run an online game every Tuesday from 1999 to about 2005. Had a year in the middle with nothing at one point, but otherwise almost continuous.

The virtual tabletop has come a LONG way from what it was in 1999. It was a great way for separated friends to still get together and play. I recorded the voice chat and crunched them to MP3. They used to be posted on the website for my game, but I am not sure where I put them after moving the site from server to server a time or two.

Oh. Now there is a picture.

MangoLassi apparently doesn't like me either as it refused to upload the image to imgur from my phone. So i had to do it manually and then add the image. Time to call this a Monday and go back to bed!

They've already scrapped Office OEM licences, and have effectively scrapped Office retail licences (though I'm still clinging on to them by my finger nails).

Why are you not using Open License anyway? Granted the math works out better for Office 365 unless you count never upgrading.

    • Sunday morning breakfast

Generally, on Sunday mornings we will go out for a family breakfast or I will make something.
Since the girls have Japanese school on Saturdays, Sunday morning is our only relaxed morning during the school year.

Today was chocolate chip pancakes at home, shaped like Minnie Mouse.

I wish that there was a ERL that was rack mount. That would be way better.

You are not the only one. Only one of my install locations has a rack at the moment, but I really wish I had the option.

a minimum for how Exchange is meant to be run,

And not how I generally see it ever ran in the SMB arena. It used to be all SBS, and now it is simply a single Exchange server in a VM.

    • RE: Best Linux firewall

@scottalanmiller the ERL and ERPOE are 1 billion packets per second (pps). The ER is 2 billions pps and the ER Pro is 2+ billion pps. This is all according to their spec sheets. I have never stressed tested anything. My clients couldn't stress and ERL if they tried.

$89 plus shipping from Baltic networks, so depending on your Amazon shipping rates. That may be a better place to buy it.
I love the ERL. I have 10 of them in production around various clients.

I really really need to work on this. My daughters have way too easy of a time keeping a secret right in front of me with their mom.

Are you practicing stealthily so they won't realize the code is broken?

The problem is I am not practicing at all.

one of my first gigs 10 or so years ago was installing 40 of these in an elementary school in my home town. Prometheus Boards if i remember correctly. They were neat, teachers used them for 2-3 years. then they quit for the most part.

I would blame that on no one thinking outside the box on how to actually use the technology in the classroom. Also, 10 years ago would have been ahead of the curve on tech in the classrooms.

@lillucia I think that I am around -2.5 but I have no idea why I think that.

I have no idea what my eyesight was, but I was near sighted enough that the book had to be less than 12 inches away if I wanted to read it.

I had LASIK back in 2005 and I have been loving it ever since. The whole scalpel your eye to make a flap was scary as shit in my head and almost as scary when they did it. Now that is done with a laser scalpel instead of a blade in many cases.

My wife wants LASIK, but was told years ago that her cornea is too thin for the blade method. She is debating going back in now to see if the laser method I makes her a viable candidate.
