RE: one side recorded calls with oreka
in their website they mentioned :
OrkAudio Debian/Ubuntu Package
Note: OrkAudio was not re-compiled for this platform since the 0.5 version.
These Debian/ubuntu binaries have been generated on a Ubuntu Hoary system and consist of three deb files. You can install them using the following commands:
dpkg -i log4cxx-0.9.7_0.9.7-1_i386.deb
dpkg -i orkbasecxx_X.X-1_i386.deb
dpkg -i orkaudio_X.X-1_i386.deb
OrkAudio depends on some third party packages. You can install them using the following commands. Some of those are not part of the core distribution so you will need to enable the apt-get "universe" source by uncommenting the right lines in /etc/apt/sources.list.apt-get install libace-dev
apt-get install libboost-dev
apt-get install liblog4cpp-dev
apt-get install libpcap0.7-dev
apt-get install libxerces26-dev
apt-get install libsndfile1-dev -

one side recorded calls with oreka
Hi everybody,,,
I have an issue which is one side recorded audio files, and this issue happen only if someone call us from outside, as for internal calls between local ip phone (LAN network) are fully recorded
Our ip pbx is hosted cucm and we reach the pbx by way of a voice gateway
Note: the rtp traffic hit the monitoring interface (destination span port) and the proof for that is : wireshark capture the full RTP stream , I mean the whole call is recorded
i contacted oreka and they answer me with this email :
This has most likely been fixed in the latest open source version (svn head). You can compile it
but i didn't know how to do that, has anyone had any experience in compiling source code of a software??? knowing that this project in open source : http://sourceforge.net/projects/oreka/
Thank you for your help and best regard

how to connect to a funtoro bus server
hi Alllll
we have some mini bus that has funtoro server, (it is a server connected to LCD monitors of the bus chairs) this server is responsible of displaying videos and games in the LCD chairs, it use a hard disk, i tried to connect the hard disk to my computer to change it content but unfortunately when i go to LCD monitor of the bus, nothing changed, it sound like those icons in the LCD are fixed and kind of links toward audio or video, i mean that even you change the HD content nothing is felt on the LCD level,
so i decided to access the server itself, it has some cables and some usb ports, so i guess i can access it like i access DVR server, i mean connect a monitor via VGA cable and a mouse to the usb port, and then i can set icons, manage HD content ... but when i do so nothing is displayed in the monitor, so anyone from you guys who had similar previous experience with this kind of devices ?????
in the attachment some photos to show you the brand of this server -
RE: block youtube app and facebook app on mobiles phones
in the begining i though that app can be blocked by closing some ports numbers, but it seem that almost all of the apps use either 80 or 443, and if close one of these port it is like i closed everything !!!

You'll need to block all YouTube sites, which are many. Blocking by domain name is not very effective. There is always a way around that by IP address.
also blocking by IPs is not efficient, because IPs of servers keep changing, and it is difficult to know all IP range used by a specific server

RE: block youtube app and facebook app on mobiles phones
if i set a transparent proxy and block some URLs, users cannot access http://facebook.com, but if they just add s after http, they can access easily, i tried it !! i'm sure

RE: block youtube app and facebook app on mobiles phones
all 443 traffic will not be established because the app itself is unaware about which proxy to use
-
RE: block youtube app and facebook app on mobiles phones
@IT-ADMIN because if you don't inform your browser which proxy to use, https will consider the proxy as a man in the middle, and will drop the connection

@IT-ADMIN how i can change this phone rule to block facebook and youtube app, knowing that i cannot force mobile traffic to pass through squid proxy because app not using proxy setting
No need for proxy settings if setup as inline and transparent. The standard use of a proxy does not require proxy settings on the end users devices.
thank you Dear Scott, but if i set my proxy as transparent it will allow only 80 port traffic and deny everything else, which cause https 443 port to be blocked, then mobiles cannot connect to gmail nor skype , nothing except web surfing (port 80)

RE: block youtube app and facebook app on mobiles phones
actually facebook and youtube website are already blocked by squid proxy, this applied only to computer because the are configured to use proxy setting in their browsers, for the phones they are not connected to the proxy because they use app instead of browsers, so i set specific rule for mobile phones that allow all traffic
