Hyper-V must be more resource heavy since MS doesn't use it for Azure.

Easy and Quick Imaging Solution
I want to image half a dozen systems with Fedora! woohoo!
I am able to image them in a completely separate network and I am debating whether I should install them by hand or if I can setup a quick imaging solution. Obviously I dont want anything that is complicated, as my main goal is to save time here.
Hardware is nearly identical.

The camo one would look cool in my garage
I don't think Camo has ever looked cool.
Do you know how many redneck IT people there are in the southeast? I'm surprised they aren't sold out.

top vs htop
Which one are using and what are some good commands to have handy?

That and one about other things like htop and others like glances.
I prefer glances over top or htop now. It gives a nice view of everything the system is doing, including I/O. Or course it uses more CPU to run than top or htop, but the extra load is worth having everything you need to look on in one screen imo.
Trying it out now. I just started to get familiar with htop.

I personally don't see much of a use case. IMO android does everything so much better less resource heavy than windows 10. What can you do with 2gb of ram and 32gb storage on windows 10?
Run Fedora, Ubuntu, CentOS and Debian at the same time instead
Yeah I agree if being used as a PC . Android is really nice as a media center.

And add a phone. I'm finally back on Android. I've missed it.
Happy to have you back to the Android family. We are outnumbered by the Apple guys on ML. That is for sure.

That's weird. I'm on Fedora 28 Workstation and upgraded it several times and my
/
is only using 20 GB. I have tons of crap installed.Check the following:
/var/log
/var/cache
I've seen logs go crazy in the past, could also be the cache.
It seems like you may be on to something....

RE: Fedora - Low disk space on root.
/var/lib
is 34G. I have found my culprit. -

Fedora typically does not fill up and need cleaned out like Windows does. Chances are this is something rather unique.
In the end, it's always windows

How critical is SSD on a web server?
If you are using caching, is SSD really all that important? Is SATA an acceptable alternative or will there be a notable performance decrease.

RE: Windows NT Release History
I prefer windows 8.1 over any other windows interface. I thought that search feature worked well, and your desktop was less crowded if you took the time to configure the metro interface correctly..... ducks behind a corner....

Mutliple displays on Fedora VM (KVM)
I tried using
remote-viewer
to allow my VM to be used on multiple displays. The command works as expected and launches a remote display, but I am unable to select any other displays.I also tried the method of adding an additional
QXL
video display. This allowed me to select another display when usingremote-viewer
, but it got stuck on connecting and never connected. -
RE: Ask about Lisence Office365
@jagat-saputra said in Ask about Lisence Office365:
@NerdyDad thank you for answer, couse we have the lisence is limited for others user, so we must choose who one to use this lisence. for example i have 41 of lisence in 365 premium and 20 lisence in 365 essential and exchange online too limted, so how i do for give the lisence to other users
The first step is figuring out what features are needed. I'd ask managers of the new users what exactly is required for their job function.
Keep in mind that the more different license types you have out there, the more potential headaches. Certain features may not work for one user to another and this has potential of being a huge time wasted for users and IT. That is why many organizations choose one or maybe two license types at most.

RE: Edge (Sync) Favourites Toasted
Edge has pretty much shown us that Microsoft will never be able to build a decent browser. In fact, they should just give up IMO.
