      Several things at once.

Trying to find a Broadband provider as a new site can't get normal ADSL/FTTC service so looking for Wireless or Satellite.
Seeing why a site has gone down.
Swearing at the Phone system as it's playing up.

Having a heart attack seeing out MPLS map do this:-

Other than being "slightly easier to set up", why would you even consider "just replication"?

I have someone doing that, because they are using old, disparate equipment that can't do the HC. But if you are planning fresh with matching servers, is there any reason to not do HC?

Another reason for asking was if the starting price for a simple 3 node setup was Β£400K then the single server comes back into view πŸ™‚ it as you said the start price is 25K then yes Hyper-coverage seems the way to lean too.

Can't BT Openreach own and run the cables so if they say 2 weeks until fixed that's what it will be lol (UK Wide not many places have "Cable")

Do you have a Watchguard or Firebox Firewall?I see also a PowerEdge T series server there πŸ™‚ but yeah that’s a task for today!

yeah on the T series it's the DR server being revamp before going back to it's DR location.

      Yeah it's a dead WatchGuard.

      @dafyre @JaredBusch
Quick Question can the VM for NGINX proxy be on the same network IP range as the servers its protecting? Or should i create a new internal network range for the VM's coming out of the back of the VM?
(The NGINX VM and the other are all on the same Xen Host)

@thwr I've sent my first one to be deployed in production.

Once the people in charge of the unified comms project pull their fingers out of their ass and sort it out I'll be deploying at least one to each site.

Now to try and get it to work with https - On that note
Do i need to get the wordpress server configured for SSL (https:) or is that handled by NGINX?

Need a sanity check before i band my head on the desk.

If we have a WildCard SSL Cert for *.mydomain.com

I've downloaded the X.509.crt and the apache.crt (i.e. Intermediate CA) am i right in thinking we should have a mydomain.com.key file?????

We didn't purchase the cert, but i should be able to use the Certs + Key file on any server???? or do i need to generate a new key file per server?

Who created the Cert? You can also see if you can get the pkcs or p7b file.

      I have a p7s (PKCS7) file
